Offense gains 10 first downs, and 204 net yards. Devin Gardner was 14 of 18 for 136 yards and TDs with one interception. Devin Funchess caught 6 passes for 35 yards, Amara Darboh caught 4 for 66 yards and a TD, and Keith Heitzman caught a 6 yarder for a TD. Deveon Smith gained 20 yards on 5 carries, Justice Hayes gaines 21 on 6 carries, and Drake Johnson gained 19 yards on 2 carries. Michigan had 68 net yards rushing, and were 4 of 8 in 3rd down conversions. A 4 minute time of possession advantage resulted in 11 more offensive plays for the Wolverines.
Defense was led by Joe Bolden with 7 tackles including a sack. Brennan Beyer also had a sack, and 4 tackles. Indiana could only muster 3 first downs and 51 net yards while going zero for 6 in 3rd down conversions. Tevin Coleman has 41 yards on 9 carries, and a fumble that we converted into a TD. The longest play of the game for the Hoosiers was the late 39 yard interception that resulted in a red zone with no points.
Special Teams got the edge with a field goal by Matt Wile while Indiana missed their only attempt. Will Hagerup punted twice for a 34 yard average.
